I quit.

Yep, I quit my nine to fiver. I've had twenty-three days of freedom and it has never felt so right. Beginning my fifth year at a large corporation had never felt so wrong. I finally made the decision that had been lingering for years. I had chosen the safe major at the safe college with the safe job with the safe income. I choose the safe route. That is what I do. Well, I want to choose the other route this time. I began my journey to unemployment with a one month mission trip to Haiti. I let go of all worldly expectations as I spent 30 nights under the stars building homes for the homeless. God speaks all the time, but I could actually hear his voice this time.
